It can be hard finding ways to motivate yourself, especially when you have hundreds of tasks to do. So, to give you a bit of a boost, here are some easy ways to get your motivation rolling!

Work your way through these 5 ideas and you can say goodbye to procrastination 🙂

1) Motivate Yourself By Starting Something New

Think about that idea, mission, project that you have been wanting to do for a while. But something always pops up and you get sidetracked. The next thing you know, you are doing something else. Well, don’t! Start something new now. The whole concept of starting something new and the buzz of excitement. You can let go of your procrastination and get going now.

2) Reward Yourself with a Treat

Motivate yourself with a treat. We all have lots of commitments and things to get done every week. But it does not have to be a chore. If you have something to work towards, it always feels better. Reward yourself with a special treat. It can be anything… For example, a new laptop for completing a large work project. A new dress for reaching a target goal weight. A relaxing massage to destress yourself. The effort you put in to achieve this will make it feel even more enjoyable when you have your treat!

3) Revamp your To-Do List

Take your To-Do List and make sure that you are very critical and place the hard tasks at the top. This is a great way to motivate yourself. By the time you reach the afternoon, the harder work has gone. The tasks at the bottom will be easier, when your energy levels go down again, later in the day. For inspiration check out my article

4) Sleep more

Always we here about how we should make sure we have at least 7 hours sleep and if possible 8. But do we do this often enough? Make a point of going to bed earlier. Take a book with you and read a few pages before you drift off to sleep. Not only will you have a good night´s sleep, but will wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. Try it a few nights each week and notice the difference.

5) Concentrate on one thing at a time

In our busy worlds, it is very easy to start feeling like a juggler. Managing and rotating the balls of family, friends, work and so on. Whatever you do each day, make sure you focus on one thing at a time. If you follow this easy tip, you are less stressed. Your relationships will be better and your work will be of a higher quality.
