Roll on 2018 and take it easy!

Roll on 2018 and take it easy! 2017… it was an interesting year, it always is. Everybody experiences different things but in the end it is always a mixture of highs and lows. It is nice to get to the end of the year and remember only the happy memories. Those not so nice ones, can fade from our memory.

The Last Day of 2017

The last day of the year is always a time for reflection. To see what you have and have not achieved throughout the year. The key is…do not beat yourself up about the things you never did. There is always 2018, 2019 or even 2020! In our fast-paced lives, it is very easy to forget that we can live at our own speed.

Do you find yourself rushing around and trying to jam everything into one day? If so, you need to stop and assess what you are doing. Are there some things you can do another day? Are there some things you need to do at all?

Take Time-Out to Brainstorm

Taking a time out and having a careful think about what we are doing, can help us for our future self. At the end of the day, you want to make life as easier as you can for yourself. If it feels hard, that is more than likely because it is. Be honest with yourself and get rid of the rubbish things taking up your time. Then you can enjoy the things you like more. It might sound simple, but it is effective. Even if it is a few moments, or even better a 30 min brainstorm. Think about it today or even at the start of the New Year tomorrow. Cliched but true… a New Year, a New You 🙂

“20 years from now you will be disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the one’s you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” -Mark Twain
