Whatever challenge you are facing or goal you are trying to reach, finding the motivation to keep going can be your biggest obstacle. You may have every intention to do something. You might even offer a commitment. But many things can affect your motivation and disrupt your plans.
How To Stay Motivated
So, how can you focus and make sure you have the motivation to keep going?
Motivation To Keep Going

Firstly, if you want to rise to a challenge or achieve the goals you long for, you must really want to do it. Think about things you have started in your life and then given up. Did they really excite you? Were you passionate about them? If you weren’t, it is probably why you were not able to finish it. You did not have any positive emotion for it.
Secondly, you could use a support system, such as Personal Development Coaching, to help you. Not only can it provide you with invaluable support. But it can also give you specialised tools to assist you. Having a Life Coach and following a set programme gives you a monumental head start. This is done by creating accountability!
Maybe you want to change your job but you do not know where to start. Or you would like to lose weight but find it hard to stay motivated. Or perhaps you just want to open up your mind to other possibilities in your life. The list is endless. Don’t feel trapped and lost. This is a positive situation to be in! 🙂 You have the opportunity to act. 🙂
5 Minute Brainstorm
Think about that challenge/goal that you have always wanted to achieve/do. Don’t just read these words. Really think about it. Then grab a pen and write down the answer to these questions.

Have you tried to do it by yourself and you have given up?
Why did you give up?
Did you lose motivation?
Was your focus affected?
Imagine that you had a Life Coach. They could help you determine the best way to approach your challenge. Or work with you to create a plan to achieve your goal. Everything is possible!
When you have a weekly appointment to speak to your Life Coach, you know you have a firm commitment. This can help with your motivation and can ensure that you stay on track. You can track your progress each week and adjust your programme accordingly.
How Can You Handle A Bad Week?
Sometimes you might have a “bad week” and you know you have strayed from your programme. But it is more important to know that all is not lost. Keep motivated and keep going. Nobody is perfect! You can start again next week. 🙂 There is absolutely no point in being hard on yourself. Be gentle and look after yourself.

I love this quote from Sylvester Stallone, which I think sums it all up nicely.
“I am not the richest, smartest or most talented person in the world, but I succeed because I keep going and going and going.”
Sylvester Stallone
Takeaway
So, whatever stage you are at in life. Remember that there is a world full of opportunities out there. Sometimes you need to open yourself up and try something new. You will then see the world and yourself in a more positive way. Never be afraid to fly!
