About Sally Leslie

I’m Sally Leslie, founder of The Leslie Link. I help leaders build the emotional and mental steadiness to lead well under pressure, through emotional intelligence, meditation, and practical resilience.

I know what it’s like when pressure stops being something you deal with and starts being something that defines you. I’ve been there. You’ve maybe already read about the meeting where I froze.

What I don’t say as often is what came after this. I had weeks of replaying it, assuming everyone in that room saw exactly what I saw. Nobody did. But I did, and that gap between what actually happened and what I told myself happened is most of what this work is now about.

It’s not a place I want anyone else to stay in longer than they have to. That’s the work I do now. It’s not about eliminating pressure, it’s part of leading, but making sure it never gets to be the whole story.

I’m based between Mallorca and the UK, and travel regularly for in-person work, such as workshops, speaking, and sessions across the UK, alongside everything I also run online.

What clients say

“You get real outcomes that you can implement in your day-to-day life. It’s not just talking through issues, it’s ideas and thinking differently. That’s what makes Sally different.” — Nelson Onchiri

“She helped me break through a tough period where I felt stuck and reminded me of what I bring to the table.” — Marko Gricar

You don’t need to have everything figured out. You don’t even need to know what emotional intelligence is yet.

If your thinking feels full, unclear, or heavy, that’s usually the moment to pause.

How I Work: Three Pillars

Pressure doesn’t ask permission before it shows up. These are the three things I lean on to meet it, with clients, in workshops, and in my own life.

Emotional Intelligence

Reading your own state before it reads you. Recognising what you’re feeling in the moment that matters, instead of an hour later when the moment’s already gone. This is the practical skillset that lets you pause instead of react.

Resilience

Not bouncing back like nothing happened. Recovering properly, so the last fire doesn’t stack on top of the next one. Resilience is what you build between the hard moments, so you’re steadier the next time one arrives.

Meditation

The quiet practice underneath the other two. A few minutes, most days, of actually sitting with your own mind instead of running from it. It’s not about becoming calm all the time. It’s about building the muscle that makes calm available when you need it most.

Together, these three are how I help leaders close the gap between feeling the pressure and knowing what to do with it.

I also ghostwrite business books for leaders, and write speeches and thought leadership content, through my other practice, Content Cat Creations. If a book’s been sitting in your head the way mine sat in mine, that’s exactly the work I do there.
